GC-DI statement on the Global Charter on Children’s Care Reform

GC-DI welcomes the Global Charter on Children’s Care Reform and its recognition of the harms caused by institutionalization. The Charter reaffirms commitments under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and references the UN Guidelines on Deinstitutionalization, including in Emergencies.
